New roll over options and how Utilitrack can help

Utilitrack, in its partnership with BedfordBID, helped increased numbers of levy payers to reduce their running costs in 2014. From long standing members of Bedford like Michael R Peters and John Bull to brand new additions to the town such as IZ café in Allhallows, we’ve helped them all to simplify the complexity of the UK energy market.

The topic of energy will remain in the news for a number of reasons in 2015. The forthcoming election will see all the major parties contributing to the debate on how the industry should be run; the report commissioned by Ofgem on the reform of the electricity market will be published and the way your contracts will be automatically renewed will change.

Many BedfordBID members will be receiving renewal offers from their current supplier, the process for which will be dramatically different compared to previous years. Many suppliers have chosen not to roll their clients’ into a new deal but to place them on a standard variable rate. This rate typically won’t be the suppliers’ worst rate but equally won’t be their best.

The team at Utilitrack are ready to offer impartial, independent advice to local businesses to help ensure a full review of all the options is explored before you accept your current supplier’s offer.
